Universal Pictures has released a final trailer for Fast X, which hits theaters this week, is four and a half minutes long. The film was critically panned and there were many mixed reviews for the film. Some people have said it’s the worst installment in the franchise, some call it disappointing and some just like it for the silly fun it provides. It’s definitely not the best film in the franchise, but it delivers the fun action-packed moments we’ve come to expect from the series.
One thing most people seem to agree on is that Jason MomoaEvil villain Dante steals the show and he is the best part of the movie. Some people have compared him to The Joker, which I understand, but he was a very over the top cartoon villain, which I guess fits the franchise.
This movie is apparently kicking off a trilogy of movies that will close out the franchise and Dwyane Johnson he’s reprising his role as Luke Hobbs in the next two movies, which was incredibly surprising.

Here is the synopsis:
Fast X, the tenth film in the Fast & Furious saga, launches the final chapters of one of cinema’s most legendary and popular global franchises, now in its third decade and still going strong with the same cast and characters as when it began.
Over the course of many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outwitted, unnerved and defeated every foe in their path. Now they face the deadliest adversary they have ever faced: a terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past, fueled by a blood feud, and who is determined to tear this family apart and destroy everything – and everyone – that Dom loves, forever. . .
In 2011’s Fast Five, Dom and his crew took down nefarious Brazilian drug kingpin Hernan Reyes and beheaded his empire on a bridge in Rio De Janeiro. What they didn’t know was that Reyes’ son Dante (Aquaman’s Jason Momoa) witnessed it all and has spent the last 12 years hatching a plan to make Dom pay the ultimate price.
Dante’s plot will scatter Dom’s family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Portugal to Antarctica. New allies will be forged and old enemies will resurface. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his 8-year-old son (Leo Abelo Perry, Black-ish) is the ultimate target of Dante’s revenge.
Fast X will be released on May 19, 2023.
