Warner Bros. and DC bring BATMAN animated film MERRY LITTLE BATMAN and spin-off series BAT-FAMILY to Amazon

Amazon has announced that it has acquired a pair of awesome new Batman animated projects from Warner Bros. and DC. The studio confirmed its previously reported two-season order for Matt Reeves, JJ AbramsAND Bruce Timit is animated Batman: Caped Crusader series. And now, Amazon has picked up an original animated film titled Good little Batmanand a spin-off animated series titled Bat family.

Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon and MGM Studios, said in a statement:

“Batman: The Animated Series he helped pioneer the evolution of superhero storytelling and defined the Dark Knight for a generation. Batman: Caped Crusader will no doubt continue that tradition and, alongside Good little Batman AND Bat familyWe are thrilled to partner with Warner Bros. Animation to offer a variety of footage from Batman myths to our global Prime Video customers.”

Good little Batman is described as a family action comedy that sees the young Damian Wayne transform into “Little Batman” to defend his home and Gotham from villains who want to destroy the holidays. Mike Roth (Regular show) directs the animated film with screenplay by Morgan Evans (Teen Titans Go!). Roth also serves as an executive producer alongside Warner Bros. head of animation Sam Register.

Spin-off series Bat family follows Batman, Alfred, and young Damian Wayne – who has now taken over the mantle of “Little Batman” – along with some newcomers to Wayne Manor as they navigate the fun and frustrations of life as a super family. Jase Ricci, Mike Roth and Register are the executive producers of the series.
