Apple TV+ has released an exciting trailer for the intense series of crime thrillers and murder mysteries Burning city. The project is an adaptation of the book of the same name written by Garth Risk Hallberg, and the story seems to be full of interesting and surprising twists.

In the series, “an NYU student is killed in Central Park on July 4, 2003. Samantha (Chase On Wonders) was alone; there are no witnesses and very little physical evidence. His friends’ band is playing at his favorite downtown club; she leaves to meet someone, promising to return. She never does. As the crime against Samantha is investigated, she is revealed to be the crucial connection between a series of mysterious fires throughout the city, the downtown music scene, and a wealthy uptown real estate family fraying under the strain of the many secrets they keep.
The series features an ensemble cast that includes Wyatt Oleff, Chase Sui Wonders, Xavier Clyde, Jemima Kirke, Nico Tortorella, Ashley Zukerman, Max Milner, Alexandra Doke, Omid Abtahi, Kathleen MunroeAND John Cameron Mitchell.
The series comes from the executive producers of Gossip Girl AND The OC, Josh Schwartz AND Stephanie Wildand will debut on Apple TV+ on May 12, 2023.
