Create a cinematic TTRPG experience with the OUTGUNNED Quick Start Guide

I recently shared a tabletop RPG meant to turn your tabletop TTRPG into a sitcom. Now, I am bringing you one that is bound to make your group a group of action heroes. If you want Die Hard, James Bond, John Wick, Kingsmanor something similar, you can try Without weapons. This is a game that uses a system called Director’s Cut designed to create a cinematic experience at your table. One thing that intrigued me is that the system doesn’t look for the highest rolls per se, but prefers multiples (like Yahtzee!).

Outgunned is a cinematic action RPG inspired by the classics of the action and heist genre, from Die Hard to True Lies, passing through James Bond, Lethal Weapon, Kingsman, Ocean’s Eleven, Hot Fuzz, and the last John Wick.

In Outgunned, players take on the role of action heroes facing terrible odds. They will be constantly surrounded by enemies as they try to accomplish their mission, be it to rob a casino or save the day.

Outgunned features a gameplay system called Director’s Cut, a set of mechanics that use small pools of six-sided dice to determine the outcome of Heroes’ actions. When you roll the dice, your goal isn’t to score the highest or lowest number possible, but to roll twos, threes, and fours of a kind.

Without weapons comes from Ricardo Sirignano AND Simone Formicola with art of Daniela Giubellini from Two mice. You can get a quick start guide now (affiliate link) from DriveThruRPG for any price you see fit, even if $1.00 is suggested.
