Disney continues to fill in the cast for its next live-action Lillo & Stitch movies as they took over recently Sydney Elizabeth Agudong (NCIS extension) to assume the role of Nani, Lilo’s older sister and legal guardian.

Joins the newcomer Maya Kealoha, who plays Lilo; AND Zach Galifianakiswho will play the role of alien character Pleakley or Jumba, has not been confirmed. Billy Magnussen he also recently joined the film.
Camp Dean Fleischer (Marcel the shell with shoes) is directing the remake which will be a major release on Disney+.
The film will tell the story of the bond formed between a lonely young girl named Lilo and an adorable but dangerous alien named Stitch who is designed to be a force of destruction. The central theme of the film is family bonding, but the story also includes Lilo and Stitch on the run from pursuing aliens and social workers.
Chris Kekaniokalani Brilliant wrote the screenplay for the adaptation. I’m not very familiar with Agudong’s work, but it looks like she will be perfect for the role!
