Marvel has released the first trailer for its upcoming film The wonderswhich brings together
Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, e Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, and embark on a wild intergalactic adventure. This was a movie I wasn’t very excited about initially, but after seeing this trailer, it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun! It looks much better than what I expected. The film has a very playful tone.

The film follows the events of Mrs. Marvel and sees Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau unexpectedly switch places every time they use their powers, so they must work together to figure out why. The film also sees the return of the franchise Samuel L.Jackson, Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia ShroffAND Mohan Kapur. New cast members include Zawe Ashton AND Seo-joon Park.
When previously talking about the film, the president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige she shared her excitement about it and says Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan steals the show. She said, “There’s something immensely powerful about seeing Monica, Kamala and Carol together in one frame. It’s soothing. They’re so amazing together.” She went on to add:
“Kamala Khan, for example, is a great new character in the pantheon. I am very proud of the Ms. Marvel show. I also know – and this is a spoiler – that she essentially steals The Marvels, which is coming out [July 28]. It makes me excited that people will, I hope, see that movie and then go back and see those shows on Disney+ again.”
Feige continued, “The great thing about Kamala in her show, and now in this movie, is that she’s no different than Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in Civil War. She can’t believe she’s with these other heroes, and she can’t I think she’s in these places. And that’s funny because we want to be that. I want to be that.”
Nia DaCosta is directing the film from a script written by Megan McDonnell. The film is also said to “feature many notable characters from the MCU”, with the film being described as an “Avengers mini-movie”.
The Marvels hits theaters November 10.
