There are two post-credits scenes in the film, and if you enjoyed the film and are curious as to where the franchise might go in the future with a sequel, you will definitely want to watch them. One of the scenes appears mid-credits, and the second plays after the credits have fully rolled.

I have fun watching this movie. The movie might get mixed reviews, but it’s a movie that was made to entertain kids and Mario Bros. fan. The movie made me smile, I left the theater happy so you won’t hear any complaints from me. You can read my review of the film here.

This is the summary of the story:

While working underground to fix a water main, Brooklyn plumbers Mario (Chris Pratt; Jurassic World and The LEGO Movie) and brother Luigi (Charlie Day; It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) are transported down a mysterious pipe and wander into a magical new world. . But when the brothers are separated, Mario embarks on an epic quest to find Luigi.

With the assistance of a Mushroom Kingdom resident Toad (Keegan-Michael Key; The Lion King) and a little training from the Mushroom Kingdom’s strong-willed ruler Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy; The Queen’s Gambit ), Mario draws on his own power.

As for the post-credits scenes, if you want to know what they are, you can read on. If you want to wait to go see the movie, stop reading!

The first credits scene shows Bowser returning after being defeated by Mario, Peach and Luigi. It begins with him singing about his plans to kill them in revenge. As the shot zooms out, we see that Bowser is trapped in a small cage after being shrunk in size. As of right now, he’s no threat to anyone.

The second post-credits scene is set beneath the Brooklyn sewers and we see a familiar egg begin to open. For those familiar with Yoshi, you’ll know what it’s like to move forward.

If the movie gets a sequel, it looks like Mario’s dinosaur ally will play a part in the story, which will be fun because Yoshi is a very fan-favorite character. It also clarifies that the sequel will also partially take place in the real world, as the egg is in Brooklyn Oaths.
