After a steamy season and a half, Gregory and Janine kissed for the first time during teachers’ conference weekend. They saw each other in a classroom installation made of flowers and eventually shared a kiss. Since then, Gregory and Janine have tried to move on from that kiss and act like it was no big deal, but it was a monumental moment for them.

Abbott Elementary there are only a few more episodes left in season two before the April 19 finale. Taraji P. Henson will play Janine’s mother in an upcoming episode. The Emmy-winning comedy series has already been renewed for a third season. Abbott Elementary it currently airs Wednesdays on ABC.
