Just in the wake of Keanu Reevesmost recent sequel, John Wick: Chapter 4, the actor expressed a desire to return to another role that fans remember fondly. Reeves starred in the action thriller Speed in 1994, and while there was a sequel in 1997, it wasn’t nearly as good, and Reeves wasn’t a part of it. Since then, the sequels have generally improved in Hollywood and the actor would like to once again return to the role of Jack Traven.

In a recent interview with Looper, Reeves revealed he’d be willing to reprise his own Speed role, and sees the opportunity to reprise his beloved roles as “something special”.
“It’s cool… I never expected you to start, so to have the opportunity to reprise roles, especially roles you love, is a special thing. I recognize it. Being in John Wick: Chapter 4 is like, ‘What?’ In terms of reprising a role, I don’t know – we throw Jack Traven from Speed in the Wayback Machine.
Reeves can hardly do anything wrong with his fans these days. He’s a nice guy who makes good movies, and when he’s the star, people show up to watch him! I think it would be fun to see Reeves return to the Speed franchise, especially if Sandra Bullock come back as well. They have great chemistry and I would love to see them reunite. And you?
