BOOM! Studios recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to celebrate 30 years of Power Rangers giving fans a chance to snag some out-of-print comics. It’s been decades since I first wore the Pink Ranger suit, which kick-started my career in the entertainment industry. I had no idea the impact this character would have on so many children. I was your friend and you supported my career through all of his twists and turns, and now thirty years later, I’m honored to have the opportunity to thank you by writing this new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic series with Boom! Studios as a love letter to you all!

It just didn’t even occur to me [to join the reunion] because I was so focused on this comic and telling this story.

Are you excited to read a new Power Rangers story from Johnson’s point of view?
