An interesting new detail has been revealed regarding the Cobra Kai a series has emerged that is sure to surprise many fans. Co-creator Jon Hurwitz recently revealed a small detail about the upcoming sixth season of the Netflix show involving the timeline of the series.

In response to a tweet pointing out that the Karate Kid trilogy took place all in one year, between 1985 and 1986, Hurwitz revealed that all the events of Cobra Kai season 2 a Cobra Kai season 6 all happens within a year. It’s actually quite strange to think about because so many things have happened!
Basically, everything from Miguel being paralyzed, his recovery, the epic fight at the LaRusso house, the return of Terry Silver, Kreese being locked up, the All-Valley tournament and training for the Sekai Takai tournament, everything is arrived in just one year! This is crazy.
Hurwitz said on Twitter, “Similarly, Cobra Kai S6 begins about a year after our S2 ending. Time ticks slowly in the Miyagiverse.” It sure does!
Season 6 will end the series and conclude all character arcs. Hurwitz previously said, “Our goal on day one with Cobra Kai was always to finish it on our own terms, leaving the Valley at the time and place we always envisioned. So it is with immense pride and gratitude that we are able of “We announce this result. Next season will mark the conclusion of Cobra Kai.”
As you can imagine, this final season will be the biggest yet! Now, as Cobra Kai is drawing to a close, there are possible spinoffs that Netflix is eyeing that could expand into the universe.
