Jonathan Majors has confirmed he will return as Kang in season 2 of Marvel’s LOKI

When Tom Hiddleston previously said that “the entire cast” of Loki would be back for season two, I thought he meant Jonathan Major he would come back as Kang. So that too was pretty much confirmed in the end credits scene Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumaniabut in case you were still in doubt, Variety has also confirmed that he will appear in the second season of the series.

Judging by the post-credits scene in Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania, the version of Kang that Majors is portraying in Season 2 is Victor Timely, a 1920s figure who is demonstrating his theories about time to a crowd at a circus. Victor Timely is another variant of Kang from the comics and looks like a very cool take on the character that will be fun to see explored.

Jonathan Majors has such a huge role to play in the MCU throughout Phase 5 and Phase 6, and he’s currently going through a bit of craziness. The actor is being subpoenaed on charges of harassment and assault, but the attorney representing him says he is “completely innocent” of allegations that he assaulted and strangled a woman in New York City. He says they are gathering all the evidence they need to clear him of the charges.

Majors is at the height of his career right now and it’s just getting started. This is something that could bring everything down, and Marvel would be left in a pretty crazy situation if Majors is doomed. I mean, they built the next two phases of the MCU around him! There’s no question Marvel and Disney sweated this one as it unfolded.

From what I understand, the woman has already retracted her allegations against Majors, so this is a good sign that all will be well for Majors.
