SPY X FAMILY Season 2 and Original Movie will launch this year

Crunchyroll made my weekend! Over the weekend during AnimeJapan 2023, the anime streaming service shared not one, but two SPY x FAMILY anime projects coming up this year. First, fans can look forward to more Forger family action and hijinks this October with the season 2 premiere. So, an original movie called SPY x FAMILY CODE: White will be released on December 22nd. This is very exciting news for me!

World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight is faced with her most difficult mission yet: pretending to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, she will infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife is a deadly murderer and neither of them know the other’s identity. But someone yes, his adopted daughter who is a telepath!

I got caught up in the SPY x FAMILY manga lately and there are some amazing things coming. Honestly, I’m a little surprised that season 1 ended like this, instead of having about another episode to introduce Twilight to Desmond. Season 2 will definitely be just as fun to watch and I think it will be more intense at times. Also, I can’t wait to hear the new opening and closing songs. SPY x FAMILY it has amazing music.

CODE: White it’s a big surprise for me. It’s an original anime film and we don’t know much about it. We know it Takashi Katagiri will direct it with Kazuhiro Furuhashi overseeing the film while working on season two. Kazaki Shimada will be the main character designer of the anime with Kana Ishida helping in the film as a sub anime character designer. Ichiro Okuchi he’s writing the movie. I wonder what will happen inside CODE: White.

Both the series and the film are produced by WIT Studio and CloverWorks. I really want to know what CODE: White has in store and I’m thrilled that some of the moments from the manga will be carried over into the second season. Where do you think the second season of SPY x FAMILY will end?
