Ready or Not star Samara texture was cast in the lead role of an action thriller set in the 80s titled Pretty, staged at Paramount Pictures. The film is directed by Larysa Kondracki (To crawl) from a script written by Jesse Wigutow and Jason Markarian.

The film is described as an over-stylized film and is set against the “backdrop of a crime wave that hit New York City in the 1980s” and the story is about “a cop’s daughter who, while her father clings to life after an assassination attempt, she goes on a rampage to unearth her father’s attacker and root out deep-rooted corruption in the New York City Police Department.
The film is produced by Craig Flores, who offered some additional details in a statement saying, “Bella deftly reinvents the female-driven action genre by pairing a sexy, unapologetic rock ‘n’ roll edge with the gritty, heightened realism of 1990s New York City. 80. Collaborating with Chad Stahelski and 87Eleven, whose talent is singular in bringing unprecedented action films to audiences around the world, is a dream for me, Larysa and Samara.”
It looks like it’s going to be a wild, over-the-top action movie that’s going to be a great project for Weaving to dive into! I like what I’m hearing and I’m excited to see how this thing turns out!
