A new gameplay trailer has been released for the upcoming video game RoboCop: Rogue City and focuses on RoboCop patrolling the streets and enforcing the law in all the brutal ways we’ve come to expect from the character.
The game comes from Nacon and takes place in old Detroit and RoboCop is shown as he blasts away bad guys with his iconic Auto 9 machine gun. It is also so cool that Peter Weller returned to provide the voice of RoboCop!
Here is the synopsis of the game:
Welcome to Detroit; crime is rampant as the city lies on the brink of ruin, people fight over leftovers while others live extravagant lives in luxury. Control of the Detroit Police Department is turned over to Omni Consumer Products in an effort to restore order. You are that solution, RoboCop, a cyborg tasked with protecting the city.
RoboCop’s triumphant return wouldn’t be right without the man who brought so much life to the role, and we’re thrilled to reveal that Peter Weller will be providing voice acting for the game. Enjoy this first look at the gameplay and for the record, “dead or alive, you’re coming with me!”
RoboCop: Rogue City will come to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch in September 2023.
