Dan Harmonthe next animated series of Krapopoli hasn’t been released yet, but Fox must be pretty happy with what they’ve seen because they just renewed it for a third season. It’s rare for a network to do something like this, so they must be impressed and confident.

Krapopolis is set in mythical Ancient Greece and tells the story of “a dysfunctional family of humans, gods and monsters who try their hand at managing the world’s first cities, without trying to kill each other”.
It was also announced that the network moved the debut to the 2023-24 season. The series was originally supposed to premiere in May. Michael Thorn, President of Scripted Programming at Fox, said in a statement: “The 2023-24 season is the perfect launch pad for this highly anticipated and highly entertaining animated comedy, complete with multiple seasons of epic laughs for fans. The more we see from the production, the more we are thrilled with their creativity, story arcs, flawless execution, brilliant voice cast, and ability to pump out episode after episode of surprising events and outrageous, unexpected hilarity.
The series features the voices of Richard Ayade, Hanna Waddingham, Matt Berry, Pam Murphy AND Duncan Trussel.
Ayoade voices Tyrannis, “the mortal son of a goddess. He is the benevolent king of Krapopolis, trying to get by in a city worthy of his name.
Waddingham plays Deliria, the mother of Tyrannis, “goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices. Within her extended Olympian family, forged in patricide and infidelity, she is known as the trashy one.
Berry is Shlub, the father of Tyrannis, “a mantitaur – half centaur (horse + human), half manticore (lion + human + scorpion). He’s hypersexual and underemployed, claims to be an artist and has literally never paid anything, in any sense of the word, in his entire life.
Murphy voices Stupendous, the half-sister of T’yrannis, daughter of Deliria and a cyclops.
Trussell plays Hippocampus, “half-brother to Tyrannis, son of Shlub and a mermaid, and, of course, a biological wreck.”
The voice cast of the series also includes Dove Cameron, Tara Strong AND Alanna Ubach are recurring, with Susan Sarandon, Will Forte, Michael Urie, Jane Lynch, Amber Stevens West, Yvette Nicole Brown AND Dave Franco as a guest star.
