Chris Rock is set to make history tonight as he takes the stage at the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore, Maryland. Not only will the comedian return for his second Netflix special, and first since the infamous “Oscar slap,” but it will be the first global live streaming event for Netflix.

Titled Chris Rock: Selective Outragethis will be Rock’s sixth stand-up comedy special and second on Netflix after 2018’s “Tamborine,” directed by Bo Burnham.
“The Show Before the Show” and “The Show After the Show,” featuring some of Rock’s comedic friends, will stream during his performance. The pre-show will be hosted by Ronny Chieng, Arsenio Hall, Leslie Jones and Dean Cole. Other artists are expected to surprise viewers.
Amy Schumer, Cedric the Entertainer, Ice-T, Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Matthew McConaughey, Sir Paul McCartney, Sarah Silverman and Wanda Sykes are all set to make appearances. David Spade and Dana Carvey will host the post-show, along with Hall, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and JB Smoove.
The special will likely mark the first of many live events coming to Netflix.
