The “Hellboy” saga will see a new beginning in the film “The Crooked Man,” inspired by the original story by Mike Mignola, which he will co-write with Chris Golden. The reboot has already found its lead to play a younger Hellboy from which we had seen David Harbor act in 2019 and Ron Perlman in the adaptations of Guillermo del Toro.

Brian Taylor, who will direct the film, assures Collider that trying to be as specific as possible: “My intention with the film is to honor and bring the original comics to life”. However, there will be an important change: the film will have three protagonists, practically like Hellboy, Tom and Cora were in the original comics, but in this case they will do without the last one. In its place will be a new character. “There’s a new character that Mike [Mignola] created for the film version that will be a surprise”reveals Taylor. We will have to wait to find out who this new character will be and, even more so, which actor or actress will play him, but we will certainly find out soon, bearing in mind that filming will begin in the coming months.
