The trailer teases the aftermath after last season’s finale, which saw AFC Richmond advance to the Premier League and Nate be recruited as West Ham United manager. In the trailer we see the team’s debut in the Premier League and it looks like they’re doing great! It also shows Roy Kent’s new role in the team as he steps up to be the new assistant manager and obviously Nate seems pretty serious these days but Lasso still seems to be showing love to him.
In this third season of Ted Lasso“Newly promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media forecasts widely peg them bottom of the Premier League and Nate (Nick Muhammad), now hailed as the “child prodigy”, went to work for Rupert (Head Antonio) to West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s controversial departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) becomes an assistant coach, along with Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, while Ted (Jason Sudeikis) faces pressures at work, continues to struggle with her personal issues at home, Rebecca (Hanna Waddingham) focuses on the defeat of Rupert and Keeley (Temple of Juno) navigates as the head of his own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is still ready to give its best.”
The trailer is cut to the song “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by The Rolling Stones. The series will debut on March 15!
