Based on ‘Dope Thief’, a book by Dennis Tafoya, Apple TV+ is developing ‘Sinking Spring’, a series about some friends and criminals who pose as agents of the DEA, the US force against illegal drug trafficking, to rob a house When they uncover a major drug discovery, the heist becomes a matter of life and death. The main character Brian Tyree Henry is also an executive producer and the author of the book adaptation of the series, Dennis Tafoya, is a consulting producer.
