The flash director Andy Muschietti recently shared some of the first storyboards he created for the film and features a wild looking chase sequence involving Batman.

In the art, Batman hangs on to a rope attached to a car, then bounces off an oncoming car. The bounce is accompanied by a “shpoonk” sound effect. I hope the “spoon!” bubble appears in the movie! I think we saw part of this sequence in the trailer for the film.

I love that this storyboard art is drawn with a pen on lined paper in a notebook! The vision for this sequence was born in this most basic form, and when we watch it on film, it will be great to see it in its full finished glory!

James Gunn called The flash “arguably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.” It has also been confirmed that this film will unlock the first phase of DC Studios films, known as Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters.

Miller will be joined by Michael Keaton as Batman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Sasha Calle as Supergirl, along with Ron Livingstone AND Maribel Verdu who play Barry’s parents. Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Derry girls) and Internet personality Rudy Mancuso they were also cast in undisclosed roles. He is also the protagonist Kiersey Clemons as Iris West. The flash will be released on June 23, 2023.
