Cinedigm and Bloody Disgusting have released a trailer for an upcoming film Child’s play titled documentary Living with Chucky. The documentary takes a deep dive into the slasher franchise and explores its journey over the past thirty years. This is one movie that fans of the franchise won’t want to miss.

Living with Chucky “takes an in-depth look at innovation Child’s play franchise from the point of view of a director who grew up in it. Featuring cast and crew interviews such as Brad Dorif, Jennifer Tilli, Alex VincentCreator Don Mancini, and so much more, this one-man film chronicles the dedication, creativity and sacrifice it took to bring about the franchise and its lasting impact on the horror community. Bursting into pop culture in the late 1980s, the three-foot menace known as Chucky, proved that Child’s Play was anything but. The horror film has spawned six sequels, a television series, a reboot, comic books, a video game and merchandise.”
The document was written and edited by Kyra Elise Gardnerdaughter of the legendary special effects artist Tony Gardnerwho was Chucky’s puppeteer Chucky in many of the films.
The film will premiere on horror streaming service Screambox and all major digital platforms on April 4 in the United States and Canada.
