Kevin Costner will see a Hugh Payday if YELLOWSTONE is picked up for season 6

There has been a lot of news around Kevin Costner’s involvement with Taylor SheridanThe hit neo-western series Yellowstone recently. There are reports that the actor is hard to work with, but Costner denies those are true. One thing I can definitely say for sure is that there seems to be a lot of miscommunication and it is causing tension.

Well, a new report has surfaced from ET Canada in which Puck News’ Matthew Belloni offers some additional insight into what’s going on with Costner, some of the inquiries he’s made, and what’s going on between Costner and Sheridan, and it looks like Costner would show a huge boost to his pay if Season 6 is picked up.

The report says: “The way Yellowstone The scene is that Costner comes to set for a certain amount of time and is taking the position that, for anything outside of his contractually mandated time during filming, he should be paid extra. But in Hollywood, it’s kind of an unwritten rule that you promote your show or movie when the time comes.”

Belloni added, “Costner was asking for extra money to promote his show and this was seen by the producers as a small cash grab for a guy who was paid extraordinarily well for his services.”

Kevin Costner is one of the highest paid actors on TV, with Yellowstone paying him over $1 million per episode. According to the report: “Costner makes about $1.2 million per episode for Yellowstone, and that’s in addition to a general deal he has that pays him extra money. So he makes more than $20 million a season if it’s 16 episodes, as planned for this season.”

It is then explained: “If Yellowstone is picked up for a sixth season and Costner is on the show for a sixth season, he will receive $1.5 million per episode.

If there’s any truth to this stuff, I hope all parties can work it out. Yellowstone it’s such a beautiful show and I just want Sheridan to be able to tell the whole story that she set out to tell with it.
