Riz Ahmed (Metal sound, Poison) AND Lily James (Cinderella) will star in a new upcoming thriller titled Relaywhich will be directed by the director David Mackenziewhich previously brought us the critically acclaimed Hell or high water.
In Relay, “Ahmed will play Tom, a world-class ‘fixer’ who specializes in brokering lucrative gains between corrupt corporations and individuals who threaten their downfall. He keeps his identity a secret through meticulous planning and always follows a strict set of rules. But when a message arrives one day from prospect Sarah (James), who needs Tom’s protection just to survive, the rules quickly start to change.
The script of this thriller comes from Justin Piasecki and David McKenzie. Shooting will take place in April in New York and New Jersey.
The project is produced by Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk, Sigma’s Gillian Berrie and David Mackenzie himself. But that is not all! Black Bear’s Teddy Schwarzman, from The Imitation Game, is also on board.
