Yes, James Gunn talked to Zack Snyder about DC Studios stuff

Co-CEO of DC Studios James Gunn he seems to have plenty of time on his hands to answer questions from fans on Twitter. Sometimes a fan doesn’t even need to ask Gunn anything directly, Gunn is just scrolling through Twitter to find things to answer!

Gunn recently responded to someone who shared a Swamp Thing image with a hashtag that said “Sell the Snyderverse to Netflix,” which is just a silly thing to say in the first place, but Gunn replied saying:

“I have to say this has to be the wackiest hashtag since 1) Netflix hasn’t expressed such an interest (although we’ve discussed other things) and 2) Zack hasn’t expressed any interest and seems to be happy doing what he’s doing ( and, yes, we talked too).”

Another fan asked what he and Snyder and Gunn were talking about explained:

“He reached out to me to express his support for my choices. He’s a good guy. Again, he seems really happy with the huge world-building that he’s doing now.

So let me explain… Gun and Snyder have talked. Snyder agrees with Gunn’s DC movie plans. Snyder is perfectly happy not working at DC right now and doing his thing, aka directing rebel moon. And finally, Gunn spoke to Netflix about “other stuff,” which is interesting. I wonder what those other projects will end up being if anything comes of his talks with them.

Honestly, I’m perfectly happy with what Snyder is doing right now! He’s developing his one and only original projects, which is what Hollywood needs most these days.
