With what may be the second full trailer for ‘The Flash’ just days away, there are new leaks about what’s currently happening with the Ezra Miller-starring film. Well, Warners is said to have ordered Sasha Calle and Michael Keaton’s Supergirl and Batman characters to be “stripped” from the final version of the film that will hit theaters.

According to two esteemed industry insiders Grace Randolph and Umberto González of The Wrap, Warner reportedly ‘eliminated’ Sasha Calle and Michael Keaton from ‘The Flash’. It must be said that, at the moment, these are only leaks and there is nothing official, but these same ones were the ones who mentioned some of the changes that would have taken place in DC Studios before anyone else.

And not only that, but also Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot have been removed from ‘Fast’ Well, apparently Wonder Woman and Superman cameos were going to happen in Andy Muschietti’s film, but they ended up being scrapped entirely. All of this has been on the orders of James Gunn, who would have preferred to remove them from his recently announced plans for the future of the EUDC.

The deletion of the cameos would have been ordered by James Gunn, so the final cut of “The Flash” that would have shown in some test screenings will no longer be the one reaching theaters. The new trailer for ‘The Flash’ is said to be shown at Super Bowl LVIII as well, so what happens to these characters would be confirmed there.

“The Flash” will have a cameo from an old character

The scooper also provided a lot more information about ‘The Flash’, such as that Ezra Miller’s character will reach another reality, implying that the new DC Universe won’t keep anything that has come up until then. “It’s really the wildcard Scarlet Speedster that’s in the comics that can go where he wants, but they’re not going to keep anything from that movie, at least in the prime universe.”

Finally, Grace added that there will be “a special cameo from a Warner character that was present in the DC world a long time ago.” So now it could be said that Sasha Calle’s Supergirl will be ruled out for the future of EUDC, when she never debuted on the big screen.

Again, it must be said that these are just rumors, and while they seem strong, there’s nothing official from Warner Bros. Discovery just yet. We’ll have to wait for the reveal of the film’s new trailer, to confirm whether or not all of these characters would be completely dropped from “The Flash,” which opens on June 16, 2023.
