XYZ Films has released a trailer for a creepy Mexican indie horror film titled Huesera: The Bone Woman, centered on a young pregnant woman, who is cursed by an evil entity. As if being pregnant wasn’t hard enough for women, dealing with a demonic curse must take things to new nightmarish levels. At least, that’s the vibe I get from this trailer! This movie looks really scary!
Supernatural horror movie is led by Natalia Solian in “an all-star performance as Valeria, a young woman expecting her first child who is cursed by a sinister entity. Immersed in a terrifying and dangerous world, a group of witches emerge as her only hope of safety and salvation, but not without serious risks.
The film is from director Michelle Garza Cervera, who is making her feature film directorial debut, with a screenplay she co-wrote with Abia Castillo.
XYZ Films will release the film in select U.S. theaters on February 10, 2023, then on VOD beginning February 16, with a streaming release on Shudder later this year.
