Jennifer Gray Updates ‘Dirty Dancing 2’ and Declares ‘There Will Never Be Any More Johnny and Baby’ (Exclusive)

Patrick sadly passed away at the age of 57 in 2009 due to pancreatic cancer. Jennifer is determined to honor Patrick’s legacy in the sequel. “All of my work with this is to do it right, really right, in honor of Patrick, in honor of all the fans of the relationship with the movie,” she said in Good morning America. “If you’re going to remake that movie, it has to be right. It’s definitely happening. I am very excited to say this. It’s something I refuse to do unless it’s perfect, so I’m doing everything I can to make sure I stick to it.”
