Sideshow has shared a new unboxing video of Hot Toys’ Wonder Woman ⅙ Scale Figure (Special Edition) shortly before its release.
Inspired by Wonder Woman 1984the figure has a head sculpted in the likeness of Gal Gadot and has over 17 points of articulation. She wears shiny red and blue battle with red and gold battle-damaged boots, as well as her iconic tiara and bracelets of submission. Her bracelets come with glittering effects that can be attached with magnets, which is a cool feature highlighted in the video. She of course also comes with the Lasso of Truth and if you get the special edition you can get an additional lasso with motion blur.
Wonder Woman 1984 for me it was a disappointing film despite a great cast. But this figure looks big. I’m not in love with the head sculpture and hair, I don’t hate them I just don’t love them. But everything else looks great. I’m really impressed with how well hidden all the articulation joints are on this figure and even though the platform boots are incredibly impractical, they and the rest of the armor look well made. You can still pre-order your Wonder Woman figure from Sideshow for $255 now.
