A great new featurette has been released from Marvel’s upcoming Phase 5 kick-off film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania. The video features the star of the film Michael Pfeiffer, who plays Janet Van Dyne in the franchise. She talks that since her return from the Quantum Realm, she’s been cautious about her experience of her, but the featurette teases that we may see a lot more of her past in this story.

We also have news from Paul Rudd, who plays Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, and talks about how much I love the character and how protective he is of him after all these years. Some fans have downplayed Ant-Man’s place in Marvel’s overall storyline, but head of the MCU Kevin Feige it reiterates a point I’ve been screaming about ever since Avengers: Finale. It was thanks to Scott Lang’s idea that the Avengers were able to travel back in time to alter certain events and recover the stones to defeat Thanos. He never gets the credit he deserves, and I love that he’s getting it in this film. Feige calls Scott Lang the key to saving the universe and said he found it appropriate in that spirit to use him to kick off Phase 5.
I am looking forward to this movie. love you Ant man so much, and I just hope it’s as good as I think it will be, and that Scott Lang doesn’t die. Fingers crossed for Ant-Man.
This film will be released in theaters on February 17 and tickets are on sale now. Check out the featurette below and let us know what you think.
