now they call it Mission: Impossible by dead reckoning – Part 1.

Tom Cruise had a pre-recorded message at Paramount’s CinemaCon session this morning on set. Mission: Impossible 8 From the top of the biplane (big clue after the drawing).

All of this was preceded by the release of the episode 7 trailer. And let’s tell you what, boy, is it horrible? It begins with Cruise Ethan Hunt in a suit worn by his old OPP boss Kitridge, played by Henry Chern in the 1996 film.

“Your days of fighting for great goodness are over,” Kitridge said.

“This is our chance to check the truth … the concepts of right and wrong for all ages to come,” Cucridge continued.

“You’re dead and you have to choose your side,” he tells Hunt.

Here is footage of Venice, the Vatican, a desert cruise and a lot of fighting: on the trains of a white widow (Vanessa Kirby), an attack on Ilza (Rebecca Ferguson) and an intense scene when the office runs out of gas.

The trailer concludes with Cruise Signing for Episode 7, which had a large preview at CinemaCon last August.
