The last season of ‘Stranger Things’, the fifth, dFilming is expected to begin very soon as its creators, Ross and Matt Duffer, finalize details. What will be the last scripts of the successful Netflix series began to be written in February and were already in the summer “grid stadium”. Fans of the story of Eleven, Will, Mike and others may have expected the series to last a few more seasons, but its childish cast has grown too much and it’s time to move on from both the already teenage characters to the older actors and actresses who are launching their careers.

One of its leads, Finn Wolfhard, gave an interview to Uproxx and in it he explained how he feels about filming the grand finale: “I’m not ready, but I’m very excited to start working on it”Wolfhard says, “Right after I finished watching season four I was like, ‘Damn, let’s go back and shoot right now.’ I just want to help finish it, but not like I want to finish it. It’s like he wants to know what’s going on. I’m definitely sad, but I also know that a new chapter in everyone’s life has to start.”
Wolfhard also got wet and condemned why, according to him, there shouldn’t be a sixth season (despite their salaries skyrocketing for the fifth): “To me, if ‘Stranger Things’ lasted more than five seasons, I’d say it’s ridiculous. I think the Duffer brothers have discovered, I guess, a perfect ending in five. We didn’t even know if they were going to make two. So we’re glad people are still around and want to see it. But yeah, I’m excited. Season 4 was massive in scale, but I think I’d like to see season 5 go back and go more into the dynamic of season 1, be a little more contained, but also gigantic. I hope we have an ending for each character that is satisfying enough for the fans.”
What awaits us after the wait
While no release date has been announced for the new episodes, we do know that he will return with a chapter titled ‘The Crawl’, which could be translated as “The Tracking”, and that we won’t see it until 2024. The Duffer brothers also announced that while the new storylines will include a new monster, they’re trying not to introduce too many new characters to give the originals a proper ending. Of course, it will be the end of the series, but not of its universe because the Upside Down could return with an anime, a spin-off with Millie Bobby Brown and a play set in its mythology written by Kate Trefry and produced by Netflix .
