Fans are counting down to the release of the Community film based on the television series of the same name. After six seasons of the series concluded, the “six seasons and a movie” mantra became a long-running running joke among fans, and it actually came to fruition a few months ago when Peacock announced that they’re finally making it.
The series starred Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash, Ken Jeong, Yvette Nicole Brown And Donald Glove. It hasn’t been confirmed that all of the cast members will return for the film, but most have, the rest are expected.
McHale appeared this week Jimmy Kimmel live (via CB) and revealed when the movie starts shooting.
“We’re, we’re doing the Community film in June, so… Thanks for reminding,” McHale told Kimmel when asked about the project. The actor didn’t reveal much about the film, but he jokingly confirmed: “I can tell that Ken Jeong will be in . “
Though we don’t have a clear story line about the movie, the show and the creator of the movie Dan Harmon recently talked about what fans can rule out seeing in the upcoming movie. For the rest of the information, let’s wait. I’m sure we’ll see more of them once production starts this summer.
