Psychology Today shared research from Marquette University in Wisconsin showing that there are some shows that could make you smarter and brighter, though the results vary.

One that definitely racked the brains of many was “Dark”, a series that science says could make you smarter, and it’s no joke. Created by Baran Bo Odar and Jantje Friese, the story tests your memory and memorization skills, tackling the problems this puzzle presents with one of the most complicated family trees in history. Widely considered one of the the smartest series on Netflix, is “The OA”, created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij. The story features Praire Johnson, a blind woman who has been missing for seven years, who suddenly reappears, with her vision fully restored, making her reflect on the life and legacy we leave behind her.
