Deadline has an update on Jeremy Renner, who we reported yesterday , who was airlifted to a Reno hospital yesterday in “critical but stable condition with injuries following a snowplow weather accident.” We have now been informed that Renner underwent surgery today and is recovering but remains in critical condition. “We can confirm that Jeremy suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and underwent surgery today, January 2, 2023. He has returned from surgery and is in critical but stable condition in intensive care.
Jeremy’s family would like to thank the incredible doctors and nurses who cared for him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, the Washoe County Sheriff, Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve, and the Carano and Murdock families. They are also extremely overwhelmed and appreciate the love and support of his fans.
Renner, a two-time Academy Award nominee, stars in the recurring Paramount+ series The mayor of Kingstown and Marvel’s hawk eye Series about Disney+ and the avenger and Captain America movies. His other major achievements include The pain box and wind flows.
Washoe County Sheriff’s Sergeant Kristin Vietti told Deadline that around 9 a.m. on New Year’s Day, police “responded to a traumatic injury in the Mt. Rose Highway area of Reno, Nevada.”
