The very successful series Stranger things is gearing up for its fifth and final season to wrap up the show on Netflix. While the final block of episodes hasn’t begun yet, it appears the Duffer Brothers have shared some of what the finale will entail with one of the show’s stars.

Noah Schnappwho plays Will Byers on the series, recently teased the final season to Forbes, saying:
“I can just tell you that I’m very, very excited for what’s to come. I think they’ve done a great job with the character of Will this season, and they’ve tackled everything they need to beautifully. The way they closed the show it’s just perfect — the story started with Will and will end with Will.”
Will is really at the heart of the series. His disappearance kicked off the first episode and was the portal from the real world to Hawkins’ Upside Down, which opened up the lab’s dark past and Eleven’s powers and origin.
I’ll be sad to see the series go, but I’m excited to see how the characters’ stories wrap up, hopefully giving them some peace after all these years of turmoil.
Season 5 of Stranger things will consist of eight episodes, and while we don’t know the release date, we expect the show to conclude in 2024.
