One of the most anticipated upcoming Disney+ series is the new adaptation of the story of Percy Jackson, the protagonist of Rick Riordan’s saga of fantasy novels. The author is fully involved in this second chance for the children of Camp Half-Bloodstarring Walker Scobell.
Disney has yet to announce a release date for the series, and Riordan himself had commented that given the production schedule, we might not see it until early 2024. Walker Scobell explained to GoErie that filming hasn’t finished yet and he’s looking forward to returning after the new year: “We will shoot interesting things like the fight with Ares” move.
When will we see the series, in your opinion? Like the writer, he believes it ‘Percy Jackson’ will arrive on the streaming platform in late 2023 or as early as 2024so it doesn’t get too wet in that regard either.

What he’s dived into is when it comes to talking about season 2, since he’s directly taken it for granted, saying that once he wraps up filming the rest of season 1, he’ll be able to take a well-deserved vacation. “until the second season”, of which it is not yet known when production is expected to start. Disney hasn’t made it official yet, but last summer Rick Riordan said he was “optimistic” with the renewal, but it depended on the reception of the series.
