Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s role in STAR WARS: AHSOKA revealed

When it was initially announced that Mary Elizabeth Winstead was cast at Lucasfilm Star Wars: Ahsoka, we had no idea who he could play in the series. Now, according to a report from The Bespin Bulletin, we’ve learned that she may be playing the fan-favorite character Star Wars Rebels character Hera Syndulla!

If that’s true, that’s pretty awesome casting! Winstead will be amazing in this role! It was safe to assume that this character would appear in the series as Hera is the captain/pilot of the cargo ship Ghost and owner of the astromech droid known as the Chopper and she had a close relationship with Ahsoka. She has also led various missions against the Empire and appears in a number of books and games such as Star Wars: Squadrons.

The story of the series follows Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) as they hunt down Grand Admiral Thrawn in hopes that he will lead them to find the lost Ezra Bridger, the young Jedi who disappeared with Thrawn many years ago. Previously I watched some footage from the series and it was really good!

Dawson is also joined by Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Ivanna Sakhno, Eman Esfandiand Ray Stevenson.

The limited series is written by Dave Filoniwho is executive producer along with Jon Favreau and Kathleen Kennedy. What do you think about the possibility of Winstead playing the role of Hera in Ahsoka?
