Even though the entire DC Extended Universe has gone through some of the biggest changes and cancellations in years, Ezra Miller remains in ‘The Flash’. And that’s no less, because James Gunn plans to leverage the tape storyline to reboot the entire EUDC, and now he’s already set a release date for the new film advance.
According to info from The Wrap (via ComicBook), the new trailer for ‘Fast’ would be revealed during the 2023 SuperBowlNamely, in less than two months Ezra Miller would be back with a preview of his film for DC Comics. Until now, only a sneak peek was revealed as part of a footage of various EUDC projects this past February.
Presumably, the February 12, 2023 the first trailer of ‘Fast’, in which Michael Keaton would appear upon his return as Bruce Wayne, Ezra Miller in different variations of Barry Allen and Sasha Calle as the new Supergirl. Additionally, it should be noted that there are several cameos that would presumably be cut, such as Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam.
“The Flash” will act as a DCEU reboot, because Michael Keaton’s upcoming appearances as Batman in “Batgirl” for HBO Max and a “Batman Beyond” solo tape have been cancelled. At the moment it is not known what James Gunn’s plans are after the film with Ezra Miller, but it is clear that, from then on, there will be a lot of news in the EUDC.

What will happen to Ezra Miller after ‘The Flash’?
On the other hand, the constant controversies in which Ezra Miller has been involved have already taken their toll. Well, the actor could face 26 years in prison if found guilty, however, this sentence could be reduced as mentioned by several media outlets. In any case, it has been confirmed that after ‘Fast’, Miller will not be Barry Allen again.
Gunn confirmed that it will be during the month of January when they finally reveal what the EUDC has for the next 10 years, which it is known will not only be movies and series but also video games and animations which are in the plans of the director of “Guardians of the Galaxy”. As expected, this was not well received by the studio’s followers.
According to some test screenings, ‘The Flash’ was a hit among those who got to see Andy Muschietti’s story, which even revived hope at Warners. For this they have brought forward the release date of the film to June 16, 2023, so now we just have to wait a couple of months for their next anticipation.
