Spanish actor and television personality Enrique del Pozo has revealed he is in a new relationship with a man, calling it "a miracle" to find love at 69. Del Pozo made the comments as he returned to Spanish television after nearly two years away from the screen.

Del Pozo is back on air as a collaborator on the Telecinco gossip programme "Fiesta". During his time away he filmed a new movie and began work on a series of documentaries and a memoir about his life.
The film, titled "Me entiendes o te lo explico", is set to premiere on October 18. Del Pozo said he stars in it alongside actress Bárbara Rey, comedian Josema Yuste and actor Carlos Fuentes, describing the project as a comedy he expects to be a major hit.
Memoir and documentaries in the works
Del Pozo said he is preparing scripts for three one-hour documentaries about his life, while simultaneously writing his memoirs.
Asked whether the book would be controversial enough to worry anyone, he said his life had been turbulent and that he intended to tell the full truth about his relationships, with both men and women. He said he did not want to hurt anyone but would limit himself to recounting what actually happened, adding that if anyone took offence, that was their problem.

Asked who his great love had been, Del Pozo said he had experienced many beautiful romances, deep affection and, in some cases, infidelities and great passions, and that he did not want to single out just one. He said he had been loved and had loved a great deal, and had had many sexual relationships.
New relationship with a man he is keeping private
Del Pozo confirmed he is currently dating a man, though he said the man is a private individual who has asked him not to reveal his identity. He described the relationship as calm, serene and very satisfying, saying his partner shows him affection, cares about him, and that the pair share laughter, culture and travel together.
He said finding someone who loves him at 69 years old feels like a miracle.
Del Pozo also addressed his most recent relationship with a woman, saying it ended around a year and a half ago. He had been seeing a woman from Catalonia, he said, but the two were too different from one another and the relationship did not last.

Controversy over Rocío Jurado comments
Del Pozo's return to television has also stirred controversy after he made comments about a high-profile couple. He was referring to remarks he made claiming that the late singer Rocío Jurado had wanted to separate from her husband, José Ortega Cano, before her death.
Del Pozo said he stood by what he had said, insisting his source was completely reliable. He said Jurado had planned to end her marriage, but that her illness changed everything.
Rocío Jurado was one of Spain's best-known singers before her death in 2006. Ortega Cano is a former bullfighter who remains a prominent figure in Spanish celebrity media.
