Spice Girl Emma Bunton has surprised presenter Holly Willoughby on her YouTube show Together by bringing out the original see-through minidress she wore to the 1997 BRIT Awards.
The 50-year-old singer, who rose to fame as Baby Spice in the hit 1990s pop group, appeared alongside All Saints icon Nicole Appleton, 51, to discuss nineties fashion on the online show launched by Willoughby last month.
As Willoughby poured margaritas for her guests in the studio, Bunton brought out the iconic black outfit from her archive.
"I brought something for you," Bunton said during the show. "This is the original BRIT dress. Look at that, it's the tiniest thing and it's see-through. That's the original, I found it."
Willoughby, 45, gasped at the sight of the garment. "I've got knickers bigger than this! This is history. Do you not keep this somewhere very safe? I feel like I should have gloves on," she replied.

Bunton revealed that she maintains a dedicated wardrobe in her London home to safely preserve her original Baby Spice outfits and memorabilia.
She shared a story about a previous visit Willoughby had made to her home, recalling how the host had tried to explore the collection while they were socialising.
"I do remember once, you came to my house and we were outside in the garden and you said 'What's up there?' And I said 'Oh actually, I'm about to store everything, all my Spice stuff,'" Bunton explained.
"And she went 'Can I go up there and try things on!' And I was like 'No, not today'. Only because we were a little bit tipsy as well otherwise I might have let you in," Bunton added.
The 1997 BRIT Awards history
The 1997 BRIT Awards, an annual British music industry ceremony, was a milestone year for the Spice Girls, who delivered a famous performance of their hit singles Wannabe and Who Do You Think You Are.
The event also marked the history-making moment when bandmate Geri Halliwell wore her famous Union Jack minidress during the group's live television appearance.
Holly Willoughby on life after This Morning
Willoughby returned to the public eye last month with the launch of her YouTube channel series Together. It marks her first regular hosting role since stepping down from ITV's flagship daytime programme This Morning in 2023, following 14 years as a presenter on the network.
The presenter confessed she has become "so lazy" during her three years away from daily television work, describing herself as "half-woman, half-mattress."
Speaking on the podcast Bottoms Up! with hosts Alan Carr and Lee Peart, Willoughby reflected on the shift in her routine after years of managing a demanding broadcasting schedule.
"Well, what I discovered was once I stopped working was that I am so lazy," Willoughby said. "For somebody who worked a lot and was really busy and people were like 'I don't know how you do it, how do you keep so many plates spinning?' I was like, wow, I'm literally half-woman, half-mattress. I adapted like that."
Joking about the effort required to attend the recording, she added: "Just being here is hard. I'm here for the drinks, let's be honest."
Podcast appearance and hangover cures
During her appearance on Bottoms Up!, Willoughby also discussed her relaxed lifestyle and personal tastes, describing herself as a "basic b***h" who enjoys drinking Echo Falls wine.
When host Lee Peart asked what red wine she preferred, Willoughby replied: "I like a, this is a basic b***h, I like a Merlot, soft." Host Alan Carr interjected, "Echo Falls?" to which Willoughby confirmed: "Oh yeah I like an Echo Falls."
Opening up about how she handles recovery after a night of drinking, Willoughby revealed her hangover routine involves continuous eating throughout the day.
"I don't stop eating," she explained. "I eat my way through the day. So it'll be like a fry-up, it'll be picky bits. I suddenly go really like eighties and I'm like scotch egg, pork pie, Marks and Spencer's picky bits."
She also shared one of her favourite indulgent snacks, describing a custom food combination she prepares at home.
"One of my favourite kind of guilty pleasures is those plastic cheese slices. Getting a square one, then you get a pork scratching, put it in the middle, fold it up like a little wonton," Willoughby said.
