Emily Atack has been seen in public for the first time since tying the knot, leaving a Manchester hotel on Wednesday as she ran errands ahead of her upcoming second wedding celebration in Spain.
The 36-year-old actress married her partner Alistair Garner in an intimate UK ceremony in late August surrounded by close family and friends, before preparing for a second, more lavish party abroad later this month.

Stepping out in Manchester, a major city in North West England, Atack went makeup-free and cut a stylish figure in a £280 patterned dress from fashion label Realisation Par, which she wore with a beige jacket to suit the rainy weather.
She accessorised her autumn ensemble with a Burberry tote bag, oversized sunglasses, and a hot coffee, while flashing both her engagement ring and new wedding band during the outing.

Atack is a prominent English actress and television personality who rose to fame playing Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the E4 coming-of-age sitcom The Inbetweeners from 2008 to 2010. She later won over audiences on the ITV reality series I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2018, where she finished as runner-up, and recently starred as Sarah Stratton in Disney's 1980s drama series Rivals. Her street style outfit paired items from Realisation Par, an Australian clothing brand founded in 2014 known for printed silk dresses, with a bag from Burberry, the historic luxury British fashion house established in 1856.

First wedding ceremony in the UK
For her first wedding ceremony in late August, Atack wore a £2,325 bridal gown named the Juliette from British bridalwear designer Josephine Scott. The dramatic dress featured a plunging neckline, shoulder pads, and intricate lace detailing along the sleeves.
She completed her bridal look with a floor-length veil and a diamond-encrusted headband as she emerged from the church hand-in-hand with her new husband. Garner, 40, wore a smart black suit paired with brown shoes for the service.

Following the church service, the newlyweds enjoyed a glass of fizz outside the building before travelling to their wedding breakfast reception in a vintage silver car.
The couple held their main reception at their dream countryside home in Bedfordshire, a ceremonial county in the East of England located roughly 30 miles north of London. Guests at the rural celebration were treated to soft-serve ice cream from a hired McDonald's McFlurry van brought directly to the property.

Atack officially confirmed the wedding on Instagram alongside photographs from the ceremony, writing: "Yesterday we officially got married among close family and friends. It was absolutely perfect."
She added in her social media caption: "I can't believe we get to do all that again in a few weeks time. Christ, we have fun don't we @dralistairgarner." Famous friends quickly offered their congratulations in the comments section. Author Elizabeth Day wrote: "Stunning. So so happy for you both! Congratulations." Radio presenter Will Manning also commented: "go on!!! congratulations."

Planning the second celebration in Spain
The couple are now gearing up for their second, more lavish wedding affair scheduled to take place in September in Spain. Earlier this year, Atack shared details of the upcoming celebration abroad, revealing that the event will be a "fat, f*** off party."
Discussing the arrangements for the party, she stated: "I think I've nailed it. We're getting married in September. I've very much enjoyed the planning process."

In an interview with Luxury London Magazine, Atack described her enthusiasm for selecting the finer elements of the reception, saying: "Choosing napkins and stuff. I'm like, 'My God, my life is here!'"
Her fashion choices for the second celebration have been heavily influenced by the 1980s aesthetic on her show Rivals, the Disney+ television adaptation of Dame Jilly Cooper's 1988 bestselling novel. Discussing her search for a second show-stopping dress with Grazia magazine, Atack explained: "Since Rivals, in terms of fashion, I tend to go quite big now generally."

Following widespread speculation regarding the location of their September nuptials, Atack confirmed she would be marrying Garner abroad, with the venue understood to be in Spain. Expressing her delight over their marriage, she told the publication: "Life is good. It doesn't get much better than where I am now."
Relationship and family background
Atack and Garner, who works as a scientist, got engaged in July 2025. Their engagement came one year after the couple welcomed their first child together, a son named Barney, who is now two years old.
