Fans in Peru will be the first to watch the new installment when Crunchyroll adds the episode at 11:00 a.m. local time on Sunday morning. The morning release gives local viewers immediate access to the confrontation rather than forcing them to wait for the episode to arrive on rival services.

Streaming Schedule Across Digital Platforms

Crunchyroll holds the first release window for episode 5, but three other major streaming services will roll out the episode over the following week. The phased schedule gives anime fans multiple options depending on their existing streaming subscriptions.

Disney+ will release the episode three days later on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. HBO Max will then add the chapter to its streaming catalogue on Friday, November 13, 2026, before Netflix concludes the rollout on Saturday, November 14, 2026.

Viewers who want to watch the episode on its earliest availability date will need a Crunchyroll subscription. The episode can be streamed through the Crunchyroll website or on its official application across compatible smart TVs, smartphones, tablets and video game consoles. Users can locate the release by searching for Dragon Ball Super Beerus in the platform library and opening the fifth episode once it goes live at 11:00 a.m. Peru time.

Animation Changes and Fan Debate

The main appeal of Dragon Ball Super Beerus is a refreshed visual presentation of a narrative arc widely known to anime fans. The original Dragon Ball Super television series was broadcast between 2015 and 2018, launching with the arrival of Beerus on Earth.

Unlike the original television broadcast, this updated production features redrawn artwork and alterations to the animation. The revisions aim to provide a modernised audiovisual experience, updating character models and visual effects during key battles.

The production adjustments have already generated debate among followers of the franchise. Episode 3 divided viewers after the production team made notable cuts to established moments, most prominently removing the iconic scene where the Saiyan prince Vegeta danced to appease Beerus and prevent the destruction of Earth.

The Super Saiyan God Transformation

The Dragon Ball franchise, created by manga author Akira Toriyama, began in 1984 and grew into a worldwide cultural phenomenon. Dragon Ball Super serves as the canonical successor to Dragon Ball Z, following Goku and the Z Fighters as they encounter deities and warriors from across the multiverse.

Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7, serves as an ancient deity whose role is to maintain cosmic balance through destruction. After awakening from decades of slumber following a vision of a worthy opponent, Beerus journeys to Earth in search of the legendary Super Saiyan God.

To match the deity's immense power, Goku participates in a ritual with five other Saiyans, absorbing their energy to ascend into the divine Super Saiyan God state. Episode 5 showcases Goku testing this crimson transformation against Beerus in combat, setting up the climax of the opening storyline.
