Doctor Names Foods to Restore Energy When Exhausted

Gynecologist Ekaterina Volkova has named foods that can help people who feel like a squeezed lemon satisfy hunger and restore their energy levels. She listed them on her Telegram channel.

Volkova said the first such food is sauerkraut. She explained that it contains a lot of vitamin C, enzymes and lactic acid, which helps create a feeling of lightness in the stomach. The doctor advised choosing sauerkraut made without vinegar or preparing it at home.

Oranges and sweet peppers

The doctor added that oranges and sweet peppers also help restore energy. Both are rich in vitamin C, while sweet peppers additionally contain vitamin A, potassium and magnesium.

Volkova also recommended that tired people eat seasonal vegetables, fruits and berries. She said summer is the ideal time to naturally fill the body with vitamins, and that the more of them on a person's plate, the higher their energy levels.

Separately, gastroenterologist Svetlana Ionova has previously advised people with gastritis and stomach ulcers to avoid fresh cabbage, explaining that it contains coarse fibers that irritate the stomach lining.
