CMF Clip Pro: Nothing Debuts Open Earbuds With Smart Dial

Nothing's sub-brand CMF has unveiled the CMF Clip Pro, its first open-type wireless earbuds, offering a comfortable fit, quality sound and the ability to stay aware of surroundings.

Each earbud weighs 5.9 grams and is shaped to adapt to different ear contours for comfortable long-term wear. Sound comes from a 10.8mm dynamic driver supporting LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs. CMF also built a proprietary Ultra Bass Technology to compensate for the bass loss typical of open-type earbuds and reduce distortion.

Microphones, connectivity and battery life

The earbuds feature a four-microphone system that separates the user's voice from background noise for clearer calls. They support Bluetooth 5.4, Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair for quick pairing, a low-latency gaming mode, and simultaneous connection to two devices. Settings are managed through the Nothing X app. The manufacturer says the earbuds run up to 10 hours per charge, about 33 hours total with the case, and carry an IP54 rating against dust and splashes.

Price and Smart Dial case

The CMF Clip Pro is already on sale for $99, about 7,980 rubles, in white, black and orange. The charging case includes a Smart Dial, a rotating wheel that lets users adjust volume, answer calls and pair with a source device without touching their smartphone.
