Cinema Week 2026 Brings R$10 Movie Tickets to Brazil

The second edition of Cinema Week began on Thursday, September 10, and runs through September 16 across Brazil, offering movie tickets starting at 10 reais at participating theaters nationwide.

The promotion is organized by Feneec, the Federação Nacional das Empresas Exibidoras Cinematográficas (National Federation of Cinema Exhibitor Companies), which is offering a range of films at the reduced ticket price along with special deals on popcorn and soda combos that can vary between chains.

Major theater chains taking part include Cinemark, Cinépolis, UCI, Kinoplex and Cinesystem, with the initiative aimed at promoting and encouraging moviegoing.

Ticket prices and rules

For 2D or 3D screenings starting before 5 p.m., tickets cost 10 reais. Sessions starting at 5 p.m. or later cost 12 reais.

Some chains are also offering special conditions for premium formats such as VIP and IMAX rooms, with tickets priced between 20 and 24 reais and discounts on popcorn and drink combos. The promotion does not apply to pre-premieres or concert screenings.

Films playing during Cinema Week

The lineup spans animation, adventure, horror, comedy and science fiction, and the selection of films can vary by region. Titles include:

  • Spider-Man: Brand New Day - Peter Parker is gone, but Spider-Man is at the peak of his abilities keeping New York safe, until a string of unusual crimes pulls him into a mystery bigger than any he has faced. Starring Tom Holland, Zendaya and Sadie Sink.
  • My Best Friend - Two women in their fifties navigate menopause and empty-nest syndrome as their teenage daughters travel to Portugal on exchange programs. Starring Ingrid Guimarães, Mônica Martelli and Giulia Benite.
  • The Dog Stars - In a post-apocalyptic world devastated by a flu pandemic, widower and pilot Hig lives isolated in a Colorado hangar with his dog and Bangley, a gruff former Marine. Starring Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin and Margaret Qualley.
  • Supernatural: Now Among Us - Gemma moves back into her childhood home to raise her daughter, but her peace is broken when she discovers she can cross into the astral plane and bring something back with her. Starring Amelia Eve, Island Austin and Lin Shaye.
  • The Wonderful Enchanted Tree - A modern family leaves the city for the English countryside in search of a fresh start. Starring Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, Nicola Coughlan, Rebecca Ferguson and Nonso Anozie.
  • Practical Magic 2 - The story follows the Owens family 25 years after the first film, as Sally's daughter Kylie begins uncovering dark family secrets and her own hidden powers. Starring Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Joey King, Maisie Williams and Lee Pace.
  • Code: Vengeance - To prove his innocence and find answers, private security guard Reed boards a cargo ship on a lone mission after being accused of murder. Starring Jason Statham, Annabelle Wallis and Roland Moller.
  • Blue Lock - After a poor World Cup showing, the Japanese football federation creates a radical, isolated training program called Blue Lock. Starring Fumiya Takahashi, Kaito Sakurai and Kyohei Takahashi.
  • My Daughter Is a Zombie - A father does everything he can to protect his daughter after she is infected with a zombie virus, but instead of fully turning she retains part of her consciousness, creating a bond that is both moving and chaotic. Starring Jo Jung-suk, Yoo Kyung-ho and Choi Yoo-ri.
  • Toy Story 5 - The toys face a new challenge: competing for Bonnie's attention against Lilypad, a digital device that creates virtual worlds and captures her focus. Starring Joan Cusack, Bad Bunny and Tom Hanks.
  • PAW Patrol: A Dino Adventure - After a storm, the PAW Patrol lands on a mysterious island of dinosaurs and finds Rex, a lost hatchling. When reckless mining by Humdinger triggers a volcanic eruption, the team faces its biggest rescue mission yet to save the island. Starring McKenna Grace, Fortune Feimster and Jennifer Hudson.
  • The Ice Cream Man - An ordinary day in a small town turns into a horror show when adults' lives are threatened by a group of children whose sole mission is to eliminate them after eating a cursed ice cream. Starring Eli Roth, Ari Miller and Sarah Abbott.
  • Coyote vs. Acme - An unlucky lawyer takes on Wile E. Coyote as a client in his lawsuit against Acme over its defective products, only to discover his old boss is defending the company. Starring Lana Condor, Will Forte and John Cena.
  • The Odyssey - After the Trojan War, Odysseus faces a dangerous journey home to Ithaca, encountering the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens and Calypso along the way. Starring Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland and Zendaya.
