Cillian Murphy in a gray suit strolls on the set of the upcoming Oppenheimer movie in Los Angeles

Cillian Murphy traveled back in time while filming scenes from the upcoming Oppenheimer movie in Los Angeles on Friday.

The 45-year-old actor was caught walking in a charcoal gray suit with high-waisted trousers.

The costume designers for the movie gave Murphy a blue button-down shirt and a short red tie to wear under the blazer.

A gray speck appeared in his dark brown hair as the production assistants and other crew members moved violently on set.

Murphy wasn’t the only big name on Friday’s set. Manchester by the Sea star Casey Affleck also attended and paid the bill.

Affleck, 46, wore a brown shirt, matching military tie, and gray trousers while facing the street.

Military Service: Casey Affleck, 46, wore a matching military brown shirt and tie and gray pants while facing the street.

He wore brown loafers and his dark hair was neatly combed to the right.

Affleck is the latest in a long line of stars Murphy has seen on set over the past few weeks.

Chaplin actor Robert Downey Jr., Mary Poppins Returns actor Emily Blunt, The Martian star Matt Damon and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actor Dane DeHaan recently appeared on the set with the Peaky Blinders sign.

That doesn’t even include Gary Oldman, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Josh Hartnett, Jack Quaid and many others who starred in the movie.

Oppenheimer is an adaptation of Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin’s 2006 book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer.

It follows the life of Oppenheimer as he develops the atomic bomb for the unknown Manhattan Project during World War II.

His work killed thousands of people and during World War II. It led to the dropping of bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, a devastating attack that marked a final exclamation point for World War II.

After America dropped the bombs, Oppenheimer campaigned for nuclear weapons control to avoid a possible nuclear war with the former Soviet Union.

Oppenheimer died of throat cancer in 1967 after years of smoking. He was 62 years old.

Christopher Nolan will direct the film from an adapted screenplay he wrote.

The current release date set by Universal Pictures is July 21, 2023.
