Fleur East has revealed Strictly Come Dancing has brightened her marriage to husband Marcel Badiane-Robin.
The 34-year-old radio host and the French fashion designer got married in Morocco in 2019. Fleur said her sexy tight costumes and routines took her and her partner back to the early days of their relationship.
Fleur told The Mirror: “If you want to rekindle the spark in your marriage, do it strictly. When has he ever seen me in a new look every week that moves my hips like that? When do you ever do that for your partner? It’s like I perform for him every Saturday night.

She added that Marcel, who came to Blackpool on Saturday to support her, “is the one who tells me to be sexier and more passionate.
“Doing Strictly has definitely perked up our marriage. It’s like our second honeymoon. We both love it.”
As Fleur finds her marriage stronger than ever, it’s good for her to be protected from the dreaded Strictly Curse.
The long-running show has gained an unwelcome reputation for breaking up previously stable relationships, with more than a dozen celebrity contestants forging new romances with their respective dance partners over the course of its 18-year history.

Strictly Come Dancing returned to screens on Saturday night for its ninth live show, marking its epic return to Blackpool Tower for the first time in three years for the show’s legendary annual journey.
The pair hit the stage in sequined ensembles during their Couples Choice performance on Destiny’s Child, allowing the celeb to perform a dance style of her choice throughout the set.
She and partner Vito Coppola were praised by the judges as they sent the Blackpool Tower crowd into a frenzy with the dance before catapulting them to the top of the leaderboard.

Glitz and Glamour: Fleur’s performance on stage at night was nothing short of sensational as she came out dressed in sequins for a performance for Destiny’s Child
Craig started the comments simply with “One word, three syllables starting with ‘F’, Fantastic!”.
While Shirley agreed, “It was an iconic routine that will go down in history, you were absolutely phenomenal.”
The dance received the season’s first 10 out of 10 from judge Craig Revel Horwood, resulting in a perfect 40 out of 40, which is also a first.

Lots of energy: The performance certainly didn’t lack energy as Fleur and Vito got the audience going with their movement sequences
And Fleur was delighted at the feat as partner Vito wrapped her in his arms and followed the news over his shoulder.
Before taking the stage, Fleur spoke emotionally about her late father, sharing that he would have been “bursting with pride” if he had been here to see it, adding: “Anything I do here, I do for it.”
The X Factor star went on to say her mum and sister will be in Blackpool to support her after she and partner Vito Coppola topped the rankings last week with a score of 39 out of 40.
Strictly Come Dancing resumes on Sunday at 7.20pm on BBC One – when a couple are eliminated from the competition for the second time this season.

Congratulations! The dance earned judge Craig Revel Horwood the first 10 out of 10 of the season, resulting in a perfect 40 out of 40 – as Fleur was lifted into the air by elated partner Vito Coppola upon hearing the result.
