“It’s so hard to say I miss you because you are always with me,” Quavo wrote. “And we did everything together. Ever since we were kids you’ve been by my side, watching me, those eyes waiting for me to take the next step, then you followed right behind me. You always made sure I did it first so you could work things out with me. You never competed with me, we were always on the same team. You hated playing against me.
Quavo recalled that Takeoff was “the most carefree person in the world” and said he was someone who never got angry or raised his voice. However, he also noted that his nephew was always the “funniest” person in the room. Takeoff called him his “angel” and said he was “proud” to be his uncle. “You will continue to send your blessings from heaven,” he wrote. “And I will continue to keep your name alive as long as I live.”
Quavo and Takeoff formed the Migos with Deviation in 2008. They released their debut single ‘Versace’ in 2013, followed by four studio albums and countless mixtapes. As a solo artist, Takeoff has released one studio album released in 2018, as well as five singles. Migos has collaborated with other artists such as Offset’s wife cardi b🇧🇷 Nicki Minaj🇧🇷 duckY travis scott🇧🇷
In October, Takeoff and Quavo released an album without Offset, amid reports that the group had broken up. Though they’ve never confirmed an official split, Takeoff and Quavo have hinted that they split from Offset because he wasn’t loyal. “I feel like we want to see our career as a duo, you know what I mean?” when i said great facts in October. “We come from a loyal family. We have to be together. Sometimes when things don’t work out, it wasn’t meant to be. In the same interview, Takeoff added, “We’ve always been a family, [thought]🇧🇷 Nothing will change.”

Quavo and Takeoff just released a music video on Oct. 31, just hours before Takeoff’s death. The couple were reportedly together at 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, where Takeoff was shot and killed by tmz extension. Photos and video from the scene show a man, presumably Takeoff, on the floor assisted by Quavo. Houston Police confirmed the victim was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot in the head or neck.
