But chances are the latest movie in the Indiana Jones series will disappoint fans. According to information that appeared on the web, test screenings of the action movie failed. The focus groups were shown different versions of the ending: in one the main character dies, in the other Jones instructs Phoebe Waller-Bridge to carry his banner. Both options failed to impress the public.
Information about test screening failures are just rumors. However, Disney and Lucasfilm may not reconsider plans to expand the franchise. As film critic Nikolai Nikulin pointed out, there are no new ideas in Hollywood, so studios are forced to revive old characters.
